On a beautiful snowing day :)

We- the mom and daughter duo woke up late in the foggy Thursday morning of the last week before Christmas. I have heard and read a lot about the Christmas season in the Northern hemisphere before. So really excited when its coming closer and the city is looking very beautiful with all the illuminations, Christmas decorations and just like icing on the cake, snow enhances the beauty of it! The city of Minneapolis has a farmer's market during the summer thorough fall that begins at the end of Winter by April-May till November. It was fun shopping in the farmers market every Thursday as they have lot many varieties of farm grown fruits and vegetables, home made breads, cupcakes, natural honey and other essences and most importantly, my point of attraction-flowers, most of them for affordable prices and of reasonable quantities. And while in the process of settling down and exploring places to shop for our daily cooking needs, we happened to see this seasonal market which was apparently taking place in the premises of our temporary accommodation. I fell in love with that instantly and I used to wait for Thursdays to explore the market. Coming back to the foggy Thursday morning, when we got up to Ana's message asking us to join her for coffee and a walk outside.By that time it started
snowing and I was bit hesitant to walk out in freezing cold as both mom and daughter were just recovering from cold and runny nose. But then Ana managed to get us out of house for a quick walk and a hot coffee..As soon as we are out in the street and the snow showers started. Trust me it was the best ever- straight out of a movie-reel-scene of  snow fall I have ever scene after coming here. It was so beautiful and D and Natalie started playing in snow and they were jumping in joy. And so the moms do :)

As the snow fall began to increase we got in to the Caribou coffee shop. It was so nice watching the snow showers sitting inside sipping a hot cup of coffee.

We sat there chit chatting and watching the snow falling and how it painted the whole street in pure white. As the kids started getting tired and began rubbing their eyes, we decided to get back home. And after the short walk back home through the chilly air and light snow showers, we felt really really good. Thank you Ana for making our day so beautiful.
Life is a sum total of all everyday little joys :) Its a collection of memories I say !
